Biomedical sensors Engineering
Development of new clinical monitoring techniques for real-time monitoring the dynamics of the chemical changes in the body in vivo. These techniques combine:
- Microelectrode-based electrochemical sensors and biosensors
- Microfluidic devices
- On-line microdialysis as a sampling technique
Applications : detection of tissue ischemia, neurotransmitter such as glucose, lactate and dopamine and glutamate, and also detection the presence of anti-cancer drugs in healthy tissue during chemotherapy.
